FTL Today is a big fan of the BC Taco food truck and this weekend we visited their brick & mortar store in the Atrium Centre in Davie and now we’re even bigger fans.

The interior of BC Café is spacious and clean with plenty of tables and even an area with couches.

Special of the Day – Buffalo Chicken Taco ($5) – a large chicken tender coated with buffalo sauce, shredded cheddar cheese, blue cheese chunks and jalapeno slices. Very good and plenty of chicken in every bite. I’m a fan of anything topped with blue cheese.

The Gatherer ($4) – Fried avocado chunks with shredded mozzarella cheese and chipotle mayo. This was my first time trying fried avocado and was impressed.  Again, generously filled so plenty of avocado in every bit.

Stone Age Shrimp Taco ($4) – Grilled shrimp with lettuce and cheddar cheese. The shrimp was seasoned with Cajun or blackened seasoning and cooked perfectly.

Barbarian Bacon Cheese Burger Sliders ($3.50) – This was our favorite bite of the day. The burger was larger than expected, perfectly cooked and seemed like it was right off your backyard grill. Only disappointment was we didn’t order more of these.

Everything was extremely fresh and well plated, just like at their truck.  So rather than chase the BC Taco food truck around town, now we know they have the exact same great food in at their café in Davie.  Yes, eating at their truck is a lot fun, but eating in the café is way cooler (air-conditioned).
