Gyromania Grill is one of our favorite Greek restaurant in Coral Springs. Fast casual atmosphere with a complete Greek menu and big portions….everything we love.

We last reviewed this place back in 2012 and thought it would be nice to try them for lunch today.  This place is a “semi” fast-casual meaning you order at the counter and they call your number when the order is ready. That’s actually the only difference between Gyromania Grill and any full-service high rated Greek spot. The food is top notch here and we have never had a bad meal.

The inside is minimal with polished concrete floors and pebble stone accents at the counter. White is the main color and the whole place looks clean and neat. They get a lot of seating here, but it does fill up fast on peak times even with the few tables outside.

They have been open for a few years now and they seem to be hitting their stride. They finally got he much needed storefront sign up outside and the workers keep thing moving at a fast pace. Orders go smooth with the opportunity to customize any order (hold the cheese, onion, etc.). The menu contains all of your Greek favorites like gyro, Soulvaki, pork, chicken, salads with some inspired large entrees like grilled lamb chops and Greek shrimp. Jeff ordered the large Greek salad and added gyro meat. I ordered the Gyro sandwich combo with fries (salad or fries is the choice). The combo comes with a soda with free refills.

We found an empty table and settled in. The TV hanging up in the corner above us was playing some dance remix music videos which we liked. You can watch them cooking your order with the open grills and spindles of gyro meat all in view. The food took about 10 minutes when our number was called.

The Gyro Platter is a hefty sized Greek salad served topped with a pile of gyro meat. The cucumber is seeded (we love this) and most of the tomato was also seeded. The olives are really good here but are not pitted so be careful. I usually request the dressing on the side as I find they are a bit heavy handed.  The gyro meat is fresh and is really spiced well.  We did notice that they are now shaving the gyro meat much thinner than they used to, but it’s still a nice sized portion. We just prefer it sliced a little thicker.

The Gyro Sandwich was stuffed full and wrapped perfectly. Nothing is worse than a gyro sandwich that falls apart. The pita was slightly grilled making it a little crisp on the outside, yet soft on the inside. They packed the gyro meat on this thing and the tzatziki sauce was a nice large scoop. They make the sauce in house which we like….but we do think it could use just a touch more garlic.  The fries here are fresh cut and awesome. Yes I said awesome. They are crisp and not overly greasy like some that you find.  You should try the Greek fries – topped with feta and oregano. Love them!

Gyromania Grill is still a solid choice for fast, fresh great Greek food in Coral Springs. The overall value is key and it’s what keeps us going back. Gyromania Grill is located at 5760 Wiles Rd, Coral Springs FL and serves lunch and dinner.
