***UPDATE – The Restaurant is CLOSED***

Hurry, this is a very limited time offer to dine at one of the last REAL seafood restaurants in Fort Lauderdale.  Located in Wilton Manors Florida, the Old Florida Seafood House restaurant is like going back in time.  No really, it’s like time-travel walking through the doors…in a good way.  I had a flashback as a kid dining with my grandparents when they visited Florida expecting great seafood.  The senior citizen early-bird crowd is pretty serious, if you like eating before 5pm.  For the rest of us, go later after they’ve gone to bed.  The pre-meal soups and breads are great and portions are large.  And I was impressed with their wait staff that made frequent rounds re-filling the water glasses every few minutes.  Every time we’ve eaten here, we’ve had plenty of leftovers for another meal.  Friday evenings can get pretty crowded, especially during Lent and snow bird season. Old Florida Seafood House restaurant is located at 1414 NE 26th Street, Wilton Manors, FL 33305.
