I've just got confirmation from Sonic Headquarters that they are planning a Ft. Lauderdale location that will be open in early 2011!! I couldn't get an official location yet, but will let everyone know as soon as I do. I'm still thinking that when they say 'Ft. Lauderdale'...they mean Broward County. I'm also thinking that they are going to zero in on the Sawgrass Mall area...or Coral Springs. You guys seem to get everything else. Us 'Eastern' Ft. Lauderdale residents seem to miss out. <br><br> Sonic has some devoted fans and a location anywhere in Broward will be welcomed. It will be nice to have a restaurant that always advertises on TV close enough to actaully visit.
